One of the "primary reasons" for such work would be to give computers emotions, Pearson said.

"If I'm on an aeroplane I want the computer to be more terrified of crashing than I am so it does everything to stay in the air until it's supposed to be on the ground."

I personally would not want to ride on a plane more terrified of crashing than I am. What if the plane figured out it could survive if it didn't have all those damned passengers weighing it down?

haha oh man, good point. but what if the plane was just more terrified of losing your life than you are? like, it did whatever it could to save its passengers. that'd be prety sweet

i tried, but it came back as nonsense. it said "To pozdravlayu." hence, not english.

AHH. That would be because there was a typo. It should have been поздравляю. Meaning "Congratulations." Anyyyyyway...

but i used more sleuthing skills, and pozdravlyayu is congratulations, so i'll assume you mean that. thanks!
